TheKrystalRose one of Sue’s Favs!

It never ceases to amaze me that whenever you run into someone that sells their handmade goods on an online venue that they are quick to share the name of that website and tell you how wonderful it is to use.

I had the opportunity to meet the gal who runs TheKrystalRose on Etsy, at a Community craft/yard sale not far from my home. It’s a small world! I was amazed at the beauty of her beaded work, especially her lovely bead sun catchers (which by the way I could not resist!). The one I purchased would was just the right color combo for my guest room so I went for it!  The sun catcher hangs from the window ledge, curtains or blinds to add just that right touch to a plain old window!

Then as we started to chat she mentioned Etsy and how much she enjoyed using their site to list her items, I started to think of how the word of mouth between we crafters and artisans  impacts the amount of the business Etsy receives!

Along with the jewelry and the sun catchers were outstanding beaded wire trees, most to resemble Bonsai’s. This work is done by her husband, and the designs were simply too beautiful for words! My favorite is the Zen Tree, with it’s sand, pebbles and rake to give you that relaxing feeling and set the tone for the entire room. The pictures do not do these trees justice, so if you purchase one…be ready for a very pleasant surprise!
