I’ve been crafty since I was old enough to get my fat little hands on a pair of safety scissors. I stole office supplies from my mother to support my habit and wanted to be a teacher so that I could put up bulletin boards and use red pen on papers. Since teaching didn’t work out and neither did journalism, I’m playing professional with a 9-5, but still cherish my overflowing craft boxes (okay, my few overflowing craft boxes).

I live in Chesapeake, VA with my boyfriend and cat. We have a happy little life in our cozy apartment, which is filled with the boy’s video games and my jewelry supplies. Besides being surrounded by beads, I love reading, writing, music, pop culture, coffee, TV on DVD, even numbers, and organization. And sleeping. I also practice bikram yoga. I plan on publishing a novel in before I’m 32 (even if it’s self published).

My attention span is that of a squirrel’s and it’s not a secret that I’m attracted to everything and anything shiny. Sparkle makes everything better.
