There are certain people that you meet on Etsy that always are ready to help you and give you assistance in anyway possible. I found that Hemplady4u is one of those gals. When we were informed that Carole Stites-Luka (a relative of Sue’s by marriage) needed funds for a liver transplant the word went out in Etsy and Hemplady4u answered the call. Items were donated from various shops and a contest is being held to help raise the money for Carole.

Hemplady4u, as it turns out is from a town in Penna. Not too far from where Carole Stites-Luka lives and had once worked as a crossing guard for 22 years, it’s a small world!

Now lets talk about the talent of Hemplady4u. One look at the many items in her shop and you can see that she is a hardworking macramé artist, that designs her own hemp jewelry creations.

Anyone who has ever macramed knows the time and effort that goes into a macramed piece; and if you have ever worked with fine cords for jewelry know the patience that is required with the seemingly endless, numerous fine strands of cord and small beads that are intertwined. It’s quite a feat! This displays the amount of patience and love that Hemplady4u puts into all her creations. I adore the lovely designs, her shop is like a candy store for natural jewelry lovers!
